You can learn to deal better with your anxiety preventively by, for example, doing audition training, finding a mentor with whom you can talk safely and who can give tips, or taking a yoga or mindfulness course. 75 and above: Stage fright negatively affects your life and preparation for performance. You worry more, sleep worse and run the risk of shaking on stage because you panic. Know that more musicians suffer from this and that something can be done about it. Discuss it with your doctor, teacher, mentor or member of the orchestra and ask for professional help.
